Jnav and I are currently working on the cover of my new album "Handmade".  We're working with a drawing that I did of a paper crane.  I really like the way it's going.  I think it will be very understated but lovely looking in the end.

My friend J posted this on his Facebook page Awkward Band Photos .  We took note not to make any of the mistakes these artists made.

I am teaching a new photography series at Mira Costa College.  It's my Beginning DSLR class broken up into 3 seperate 2 hour classes.

This introductory digital SLR

photography series can be taken

as individual courses for $39, or

together for only $85!

The photography topics are interrelated

and affect one another, so

we recommend you take all three to

get a complete understanding of the

camera and picture taking.

That's the little blurb we have on it in the Mira Costa Bulletin.  If you click on my quick calendar links to the left, there are more details on each class.

I was Union City, California and saw that Big Foot has his own spa. I thought this was weird on two counts- 1. I thought Big Foot was kind of an illusive guy... not one to say "I'm here at my spa, come see me" and 2. Who wants to get a massage from Big Foot?

It was my birthday yesterday.  I had the honor of being gifed by Jarrett Quon as the weird dude in the elevator in the "Gangnam Style" music video by PSY.  Crunchy Sandwich has done a lot of work with Jarrett.  He's a great visual artist that has participated in our art shows.  - just a really creative guy.  Enjoy

I was recently hired to design a whole sleeve tattoo for Mr. Gray.  He had some ideas of what he wanted.  He liked some work I had done in the past and left it up to me as to what style and how it would be laid out.  So I sketched out the individual components for the tattoo artist to ink into the skin as well as the whole arm composition as reference.

Here are my drawings for it.

First, he wanted the Roman numeral '7' with two roses on each side:

Now that the Asian Cultural Festival is in the bag, i'll be able to focus more on my new music release!

My friend Kaori Fukuyama will have a piece for sale.

I was commissioned to create a triptych as a wedding gift for Derek and Lauren.  I was given a loose idea by the patron for an idea that she had.  She told me that they met at UCSD and now they live in San Francisco.  She wanted a kind of- beginning, present and future thing.  We talked about it, she sent me some pictures of them and I came up with a composition that I thought would work.

This was done in pencil.  These were 4x4" squares.  I then inked them in and began to paint them with watercolors.
